Open Minds Quarterly: Spring 2010

$7.00

Volume XII, Issue I

The Spring 2010 issue featured a story from a seventeen year survivor of mental illness; a personal account from a woman who worked as a vocational rehab worker and while she acknowledged that the workers in the field meant well, she found that  the job hung from her like an ill-fitting suit; a fictional tale from a young man in his thirties who confronts the often ugly truths of aging, illness and human response; and a poem that explores the connections between one’s mind, body and soul being closed off during doing yoga, as well as being tense and unwilling to surrender one’s power in their life in general.
