Open Minds Quarterly: Fall 2011

$7.00

Volume XIII, Issue III

The Fall 2011 issue featured a story from a woman who tried to do her best in everything but often found herself having to cope with failure or coming short of her expectations; a poem about the struggles with feeling a deep sense of emptiness in life; a fictional story about the emotional and physical abuse that one woman faced from her husband, and how her faith in God, and a late-night walk in the winter, granted her the peace she needed to face the future courageously; and a poem about one man’s soul that now feels free, open, and vulnerable, and how his awareness of the beauty in life has aided him in always trying to do and be his best. The Honourable mentions for the BrainStorm poetry contest were also featured inside.
