Open Minds Quarterly: Fall 2006

Volume III, Issue III

The Fall 2006 issue covered a story about how the dedication from one’s sister contributed to breaking down the cycle of the writer’s borderline personality disorder; an essay on how re-reading the popular and classic books of psychiatry brings a writer to new conclusions; a music review on the “Soundtrack to Life” CD which is based on the rock opera by 7th Floor Productions in Indiana; a book review on Dr. Jonathan Prousky’s book “Anxiety: Orthomolecular Diagnosis and Treatment”; and a poem that speaks to self-criticality, feeling like you are not special, and requesting that others not look at you until you can become a new version of yourself.. The Honourable Mentions of the 4th Annual BrainStorm Poetry Contest were featured inside.
