Open Minds Quarterly: Fall 2004

Volume VI, Issue III

The Fall 2004 issue featured a story about how life’s seams aren’t always sewn straight; a personal essay on how an epitaph tells so little of the human life behind it; a book review of Iris Dart’s 2003 novel “Some Kind of Miracle: A Realistic Portrayal of Mental Illness”, which dealt with the challenges of schizophrenia and how that affects familial relationships; and a poem that explores the new-found sights, sounds, smells and insights that come when one opens the door to their recovery.
